The films in the project Orion are the result of one year of research and experimentation with the support of a one-year work grant from the Norwegian Cultural Council. The films are abstract in their expression and use Apofeni/Pareidoli as a leading method.
(The human tendency to see meaningful patterns in random data./The experience of seeing meaningful patterns or connections in something that is essentially random.)
The purpose was to create a visual enigma. Images that loosely refer to the natural/biological world, the state between dream and wakefulness, the micro/macro cosmos, as well as the hyper abstract. The films are cut to the music and emphasise/communicate with the musical expression. There is a continuous cause and effect that is integrated into the films and it grinds forward like an inexorable visual machinery.

Technique and method are loosely inspired by the works of, among others, Douglas Trumbull, Peter Parks, Stan Brakhage, Godfrey Reggio and Ron Fricke.
